Vision for Black Lives Semester

Our first University semester was on the Movement for Black Lives: Vision for Black Lives policy demands. We chose three out of the six platform pieces and discussed: End the War on Black People, Divest- Invest, and Community Control. We used popular education to walk folks through developing consciousness about conditions in our communities, deeper vision of the future our people deserve, and creating strategies and next steps to move policy on the local level toward that vision.
